Manage Output Favorites

You use the Manage Output Favorites option in the Catalog Search Power Sourcing tab to:

  • Create, edit, and delete up to three favorite output formats.

  • Label favorites with a unique name.

  • View your organization's default output format.

You can still create an ad hoc output format at any time.

Create a New Favorite

  1. Open the Data ConnectContent Workbench, select Catalog Search, then select the Power Sourcing tab.

  2. Select Manage Output Favorites. The Output List window opens with your organization's predefined format.

  3. Select Create Favorites. The Create Favorites window opens.

  4. Enter the name of your favorite and select Save. Your favorite is saved and opens in the Output List window.

  5. Select or deselect the columns that you want shown in the output file. The columns that are grayed out can't be deselected.

  6. To rearrange the columns, simply drag and drop them into your desired order.

  7. To reset your selections, select Reset.

  8. To deselect all columns, select Deselect all.

  9. Select Save. Your favorite is saved and can now be selected for power sourcing outputs.

Edit a Favorite

  1. Open the Data ConnectContent Workbench, select Catalog Search, then select the Power Sourcing tab.

  2. Select Manage Output Favorites. The Output List window opens.

  3. In the drop-down, select the favorite you want to edit. The favorite opens.

  4. To change the name, select the pencil next to the name. The Edit Favorites window opens.

  5. Enter a new name for your favorite, and select Save. Your favorite is saved and opens in the Output List window.

  6. To change the columns, select or deselect the columns that you want shown in the output file.

  7. To rearrange the columns, simply drag and drop them into your desired order.

  8. To reset your selections, select Reset.

  9. To deselect all columns, select Deselect all.

  10. Select Save. Your favorite is saved and can now be selected for power sourcing outputs.

Delete a Favorite

  1. Open the Data ConnectContent Workbench, select Catalog Search, then select the Power Sourcing tab.

  2. Select Manage Output Favorites. The Output List window opens.

  3. In the drop-down, select the favorite you want to delete. The favorite opens.

  4. Select the trash can to delete the favorite.

  5. Select OK to confirm the deletion. The favorite is deleted.
