Data Relevancy Report

The Data Connect Data Relevancy report contains a monthly snapshot of counts on the first of every month with activity from the most recently processed PCAT file that GHX received. The PCAT is your ERP system's item catalog file.

Every report covers one calendar month and includes curated and non-curated items. Report data refreshes on the first day of each month and will include data from the previous month. The report will have one year of purchase order history (POH), which gives you 12 months of spend.

Use this report information to determine the number of active and inactive items in your organization's item master so that you can make an informed decision about data maintenance.

The top portion of this report features the following metrics:

  • Active / Inactive Items: Details the count of total active items, total inactive items, and breaks out both of these counts by attribute. For example, the number of unique active items based on the buyer part number and facility ID.

  • Item Master Spend: Details the total dollar amount of items purchased, dollar amount of items purchased by the buyer part number, and the percentage of each.

  • POH Spend: Details the total purchase order history dollar amount the facilities spent on both on-file and non-file items and the percentage of each.

Tip: On-file spend includes items that were purchased with an ERP-defined buyer part number. Non-file spend includes items that were purchased that did not have a buyer part number.
