UNSPSC Management

Admin users can upgrade their version of UNSPSC using UNSPSC Management.

Note:

  • You cannot skip versions when upgrading. You must upgrade to each version in sequential order.

  • You cannot downgrade to a previous version.

  1. From the Data Connect Dashboard, navigate to Configuration > UNSPSC Management. The UNSPSC Details tab appears by default.

    If your UNSPSC version is up to date, the "(Up to Date, no upgrade required)" message appears.

    Continue to step 2 if you have an upgrade available.

  2. Select a new UNSPSC version.

  3. Select Generate File to view an Excel file that contains the differences between your current version and the new version. The Excel file has two tabs:

    • The Summary tab has a count of changed items.

    • The Changed UNSPC tab contains list of changed items.

  4. Select Confirm Upgrade to update your version to the selected version. The process will complete the next time Item Master runs.

The Upgrade History tab displays your UNSPSC version history details.
