Order Splitting Validation Rules

Validation rules allow an organization to define conditions whereby POs are split for delivery (electronic files versus email Order Report notification). Conditions can be configured for a number of order attributes depending on the organization's business processes and needed outcomes.

GHX splits orders between electronic document delivery and email notification either by order line or the entire document. GHX provides a clear visibility to POs that were “split” via Intelligent Business Rules configuration. Where notifications are in place, customer teams will receive exclusion email messages in lieu of or in support of electronic documents being delivered to their ERP system.

Supported validation rules for order splitting:

Item description in line contains string <XXX>	Split all matched lines from the order into an email notification.
Item description in line contains string <XXXX>	Designate entire order for email delivery. Perform supplier catalog validation as normal but deliver via notification after Intelligent Business Rules updates.
Order line note contains string <XXXX>	Designate entire order for email delivery. Perform supplier catalog validation as normal but deliver via notification after Intelligent Business Rules updates.
