Subscribe to Notifications

Users can subscribe themselves to notifications that were added by other users. Users with a Customer Administrator or Manager user role can add other users to notifications. This situation might arise when you have new users or existing users who are not currently receiving certain notifications, such as for PO failures.

Note: When users subscribe to a notification and they already have a subscription for that same notification at a different level within the organizational hierarchy, they receive a warning message that this new subscription will result in duplicate notifications. Users can then choose to close the message and cancel the subscription or proceed with adding the duplicate.

  1. Click Dashboard.
  2. Click Organization View.
  3. Click the Show All Notification Subscriptions link. The Organization Notifications dialog box opens.

  4. Type a whole or partial name in the Notifications field and press ENTER to filter the list (optional).
  5. Click the icon to select a specific notification. The Edit Notification dialog box opens.

  6. Click Subscribe to this notification. The Edit Recipients dialog box opens and lists users who are currently subscribed to this notification.

  7. Click Subscribe to this notification. The application adds your user ID to a new Notify Who field.

  8. Select a value from the How Often list and select one or more checkboxes to indicate your preferred communication method.
  9. Click Save.

    Tip: After you click Save, you can view this notification by clicking My View.
