Perfect Order Dashboard Overview

GHX uses the Strategic Marketplace Initiative's definition of a perfect order, which is "a purchase order processed electronically (from order to payment) without human intervention, which is delivered to the correct location, on time, undamaged, at the correct price, with the desired quantity, on the first attempt."

The Perfect Order Rate in is a method for measuring your organization's performance in respect to supply chain automation and efficiencies across the GHX Exchange. It is the metric that shows the percentage of purchase order lines sent across the Exchange that are touchless and completely automated from purchase through payment.

A "perfect order" means that the PO line fulfilled the criteria listed below. Each PO line must satisfy ALL the following requirements:

  • The purchase order (PO) line has a corresponding POA line, and
  • The PO line does not have an item number exception, and
  • The PO line does not have a unit of measure exception, and
  • The PO line does not have a unit price exception, and
  • The PO line does not have a rejection exception, and
  • The PO line does not have a quantity exception

There are five key categories in which Provider Intelligence measures supply chain performance, each of which is presented as a tab on the Perfect Order Rate dashboard:
