Perfect Order Rate Overview

A "perfect order" is a purchase order (PO) that contains no exceptions on its corresponding return documents: a Purchase Order Acknowledgement (POA), an Advance Ship Notice (ASN), and an Invoice (INV). A perfect order flows across the GHX Exchange in a touchless and completely automated fashion from purchase through payment.

Note: GHX defines "perfect order" in accordance with the Strategic Marketplace Initiative (SMI) definition.

The Perfect Order Rate (POR) is one of several key performance indicators (KPIs) on which a perfect order is based. It measures your organization's supply chain automation, efficiency, and performance across the GHX Exchange.

Today the data represented in the POR includes only GHX Exchange integrated data. In the future GHX plans to extend this to the entire spend by including purchase order and invoice history files.
