Item Details

The Item Details screen displays item details. These items include:

• General item information, such as manufacturer name, item descriptions, inventory and clinical priority levels, etc.

• Alternative suppliers and their contact information

• Suppliers for similar items and their contact information

These details can help source items on backorder or determine substitutes or similar items that can be used.

Navigation

This screen appears when you either:

• Select a Manufacturer Catalog Number or Supplier Catalog Number on the Backordered and At Risk screen.

• Select a Manufacturer Catalog Number or Supplier Catalog Number in the All Backordered Products section of the UNSPSC details, GHX Category details, or Supplier Details screens.

Screen Sections

The following sections appear on the Item Details screen:

• Item Overview: This section displays general item information, such as the item numbers and descriptions, item image, priority level, last ordered date, backorder information, etc.

• All Suppliers for This Item: This section lists each supplier that has sold this item at least once across the GHX network within the past 12 months within your geographic area. It also lists any contracts your company has with the supplier for this item. This information is useful because it can help you locate an alternative supplier for an item.

  Important: These suppliers are not listed in any particular order. GHX does not endorse any particular supplier.

• Similar Items: This section lists suppliers who carry items similar to the primary item. This is useful if you cannot source the primary item from the original or an alternative supplier. GHX AI algorithms provide the suppliers that sell similar items in similar product brand names.
