Manufacturer Matched

The Manufacturer Matched screen shows items that are matched by manufacturer only when we can't match the provider vendor. You're given several options for what the vendor can be, and you can choose the one that is correct for you.

You use this screen to:

  • View GHX recommended vendor part numbers and vendor names for an item.

  • Expedite either your original vendor information or one of the GHX recommended vendor information combinations.

    • If it hasn't been curated yet, you can move it to be expedited and manually curated by GHX Content Operations.

    • If more investigation is needed, you can move an item to the Parking Lot.

    • If the item is ready to be exported to your ERP system, you can move an item to the Completed tab (only if you select a GHX recommendation).

  • Export or email items.

View GHX Recommended Vendor Information

You can view a list of items and apply filters to narrow down the information.

  1. In the Data Connect Content Workbench sidebar, select Curate Me, Manufacturer Matched.

  2. To apply a filter, select Filter, then enter your filter conditions. The screen shows the filtered items.

  3. To customize the columns that are shown, select Column, then select or deselect the columns you want to view.

Every line item shows:

  • Your original vendor part number and vendor name.

  • One or more GHX vendor part number and vendor name combinations that can be selected.

  • The curation and vendor item status.

Expedite an Item for Curation

If an item has a curation status of In Progress, it's available for expedited curation.

You can select up to 250 items within a 30-day rolling time period to be expedited and manually curated by GHX Content Operations. The items are curated within 72 hours on business days, starting at 12:00 AM MT of the day the item is submitted to the expedite queue.

  1. On the Manufacturer Matched screen, select the Recommendations or Parking Lot tab.

  2. Select the box for the line item you want to expedite.

  3. Select either your original vendor information or one of the GHX vendor recommendations.

  4. Select Move, Expedite.

  5. The item moves to the Expedite tab of the Expedite Items screen to be curated.

Move an Item to the Parking Lot

You can move an item with an In Progress status to the parking lot if it needs more investigation.

  1. On the Manufacturer Matched screen, select the Recommendations tab.

  2. Select the box for the line item you want to move.

  3. Select either your original vendor information or one of the GHX vendor recommendations.

  4. Select Move, Parking Lot.

  5. The item moves to the Parking Lot tab.

Move an Item to the Completed Tab

You can move a curated item with an Available status to the Completed tab when you're ready to export it to your ERP system.

  1. On the Manufacturer Matched screen, select the Recommendations or Parking Lot tab.

  2. Select the box for the line item you want to move.

  3. Select Move, Completed.

  4. The item moves to the Completed tab.

Export Items

  1. On the Manufacturer Matched screen, select any of the tabs.

  2. Select the box for one or more items.

  3. Select Export, then the file type. The exported file is downloaded to your computer.

Email Items

  1. On the Manufacturer Matched screen, select any of the tabs.

  2. Select the box for one or more items.

  3. Select Email, then the file type you want attached to the email. A New Message box opens.

  4. In the To field, enter one or more email addresses. Add a comma between email addresses.

  5. Enter any additional text in the message body.

  6. Select the box claiming responsibility for the content.

  7. Select Send Request. The message is sent.
