Power Sourcing Considerations
Here are some important things to know about Power Sourcing:

Power Sourcing checks if the items you uploaded are already listed in the provider's item master, past purchase orders, and/or contracts.

Both curated and non-curated GHX master data is identified and returned in results for items in the upload file.

Power Sourcing output is in the same row order as what was uploaded.

When Power Sourcing by Manufacturer, if the Vendor and/or Manufacturer exists in the Item Master, the results will return the Buyer Part #. The source type will identify the record that exists in the Item Master when Power Sourcing by Manufacturer.
Example: Cardinal Health Part Number #6715 was sourced. The Manufacturer item (6715 from KERLIX) exists in the Item Master, which displays the Buyer Part # for all records. However, only the first record (Vendor Part #6715) exists in the Item Master and is indicated in the Source Type as IM.
