Verification

You can verify items when you need to communicate with the GHX content team and ask questions about the attributes assigned by GHX in Item Recommendations.

To do so, you submit the item information to the GHX content team for review. That team will provide feedback or make changes to those items, as needed. You can submit 1,000 items at a time.

Submit Items for Verification

  1. In the Data Connect Content Workbench sidebar, select Content Management, Item Recommendation.

  2. Select one or more items and select Verify. The Item Comments window opens.

  3. Enter your questions or comments.

  4. Select OK. The item(s) move to the Parking Lot tab and any recommendations can't be accepted or rejected while the item is being verified.

View Submitted Requests

You can view the submitted requests for item verification in the Verify Items window, with this information:

  • ID number of the ticket.

  • Which scope is related to the request.

  • Status (Open, Completed, Partially Accepted, Closed).

  • Who submitted the ticket, and when.

  • When the ticket was last changed.

  1. In the Data Connect Content Workbench sidebar, select Content Management, Verification.

  2. To view more details about a request, select the blue link for the item in the Ticket ID column. The request opens and shows all of the items included in the request.

  3. To view or add comments about an item, select the comments icon.

  4. If you're satisfied with the response received from the GHX content team, select the check box and then Accept Verification. The status changes to Provider Accepted.

  5. If you're not satisfied with the response from the GHX content team, select the check box and then Reverify.
