Add Mappings

Users can add mappings individually or in bulk. The steps for the individual method follow. See Import Mappings from an Export for the steps to import multiple mappings from a Microsoft Excel template.

Note: When adding item maps for G-Fax channel traffic and non-registered G-Fax accounts, the system automatically assigns the default buyer organization of "Global Fax Provider." GHX does not recommend that you create a permanent mapping for such orders. When G-Fax ship-to account registration is in place at GHX, mappings that were created for parked G-Fax PO lines display in Manage Mappings with a buyer organization name and the registered partner’s EID.

  1. Click Manage Mappings. The Manage Mappings page opens.

  2. Click the Add Mapping icon. The Add Mapping dialog box opens.

  3. Type the mapping information in the Incoming and Correct To columns.
  4. Type a buyer name in the Buyer Organization field or enable the All Buyer Organizations option.

    Tip: Press the CTRL key or use a mouse click to select multiple trading partners in the list of organizations.

  5. Type notes in the Comment field (optional).
  6. Click Save.
