Resolve Exceptions

Use the green flag to show you have resolved an exception. Exceptions are resolved within your MMIS or ERP system. My Exchange's flags are tools to help you and your colleagues communicate and coordinate exception management.

  1. Search for exceptions. See Search for Exceptions for details.
  2. Select and take ownership of an exception. See Take Ownership of Exceptions for details.

  3. Click the icon to view purchase order details and point to the flag to view details about the ownership (optional).

  4. Click the link in the PO # column. The PO view opens.

    Tip: Some orders may include a link to contract price information. When available, you can click the link in the Contract Price column to view the details.

  5. Select the Show Exceptions Only option in the Purchase Order Details section.
  6. Reconcile the issue (for example, correct the account number).
  7. Select the checkbox to the left of the exception and click the green Resolve flag icon. The Resolving - Add Comment dialog box opens.

  8. Type a comment in the field.
  9. Click Submit. The yellow flag changes to green.
  10. Tip: You can hide green flagged (resolved) orders on the Pending Exceptions page by clicking your user name, selecting Preferences, and selecting the Filter Resolved flagged order lines from my Pending Exceptions reporting checkbox.
