Perfect Order Co-Pilot Prompting Advice and Best Practices

Perfect Order Co-Pilot is designed to help you quickly and intuitively access insights from both the Perfect Order Dashboard data visible on your screen and related documentation. Follow these simple tips to ask questions effectively and ensure you receive accurate, helpful answers.

Important: The Perfect Order Co-Pilot is only trained to answer questions regarding the Perfect Order dashboard metrics and documentation. This means Perfect Order Co-Pilot can only provide answers regarding the metric data that feeds the dashboard and educational information about the dashboard itself. As a result, Perfect Order Co-Pilot cannot answer line-level questions from Perfect Order; for example, “Provide me a list of purchase order lines that had price exceptions.”

Perfect Order Co-Pilot also cannot answer questions unrelated to the Perfect Order dashboard. For example, it cannot answer questions such as Exchange values, onboarding, or contract questions.

Be Clear and Specific

The more precise your question, the better your Perfect Order Co-Pilot can help.

  • Good: "What was our average fill rate last month?"

  • Less Effective: "Tell me about fill."

Refer to Visible Dashboard Elements

Currently, your Perfect Order Co-Pilot can answer questions about data you see on your screen or accessible through interactions such as selecting KPIs like Price, Purchase, Fill, Receive, or Pay.

  • Good: "Explain the decrease shown in our Receive performance graph."

  • Less Effective: "Show me Receive performance for last year." (This question could work if the specific view is visible on your screen.)

Understand Current Limitations

At this time, your Perfect Order Co-Pilot cannot dynamically adjust filters like date ranges or specific customer selections. Your Perfect Order Co-Pilot answers based on the current filters and date range already set.

  • Good: "Which KPI had the highest improvement in the currently selected date range?"

  • Less Effective: "Change the date range to last quarter and tell me about Purchase performance."

Leverage Documentation Queries

Your Perfect Order Co-Pilot uses documentation to provide detailed explanations, instructions, or definitions.

  • Good: "How is 'Perfect Order Rate' calculated?"

  • Less Effective: "Explain order performance metrics."

One Question at a Time

For clarity and best results, ask one focused question per prompt.

  • Good: "What was our Pay accuracy rate last month?"

  • Less Effective: "Tell me Pay accuracy, Fill rate, and Price compliance."
