Manage NuVia Configurations
The NuVia Admin role gives you access to the Configuration tab. From this tab, you configure the mapping of item attributes for item file uploads and select which item attributes to include in item download files. The Configuration tab is comprised of the following screens.
Customer Item Key

Select a secondary match key that determines which item attributes NuVia considers when comparing items in your Virtual Item Master to items in your inbound item files. This prevents the addition of duplicate items to your Virtual Item Master and ultimately your item master.

Mappings
|
Consolidate similar vendor, manufacturer and GL codes to maintain consistency and ensure that the codes in item download files will successfully load in your MMIS (item master). |
Field Chooser
|
Add or remove fields (item attributes) included in the item download files. Your selection determines which item attributes must be provided for AllSource Prime items that you choose to add to your Virtual Item Master. |
UNSPSC
|
Generate an upgrade report to know the number of items that require updated UNSPSC if you upgrade to a new UNSPSC version. |
Customer Value Labels
|
Create customer value labels for item attributes that you maintain in your item master but are not available in NuVia. Labeling these attributes allows you to quickly locate them in the Virtual Item Master and item download files. |
